Toothbrush competency evaluation form
Reflection: I have always been huge on patient education but have not always been able to deliver the information in a skilled and educational manner. Performing these evaluations for various experienced instructors has allowed me to see the growth in an abundance of areas due to each of these instructors tremendous skills and abilities being passed on.
Smoking cessation cards
Reflection: This subject is a very hard topic to for individuals to discuss with their healthcare so it has always been very important for me to approach the subject slowly and with compassion due to previous experience personally. These cards have been instrumental in helping guide me on the process of helping a patient navigate quitting with all the resources possible.
Caries Case Study presentation
Reflection: This experience was both challenging and rewarding. Being able to remove the decay and restore the tooth structure of a patient was very fulfilling. I find joy in seeing the faces of my patients after they see the restored oral cavity after treatment, and will continue to improve and refine my restoration skills in order to provide the best treatment plan and restorative possible.
